While eating at an outdoor restaurant earlier in the week we befriended a couple with a dog. They told us about Best Friends, an animal sanctuary that takes in homeless animals. They have a volunteer program that we checked out earlier. So today we are visiting and Chloe and Mary did some volunteer work at the cat house. Chloe had wanted to work with the dogs but she was too young. But she had a grand time with the cats. Paul is mildly allergic to cats and dogs, and decided that lots of cats and dogs would be too many.
